I start with shit tubes. Eventually, I learnt from blind test of tube for my favourite tubes.

Well, I'm sort of software locust.
Easier to mention my intolerable music : rock & roll, heavy metal.

My HiFi Journey
27 years ago, I start my journey to music, when I learnt my first piece of musical instrument.
My first turntable is a $10 all-in-one used & faulty box set from Ap Liu Street.
Since then, I have no HiFi set of my own for my College day.
Yet, never been deprived of real life music appreciation & performance.
The next gear is Aiwa mini HiFi during my University day.
Most of the musical software are dubbing of broadcast, mostly live music performance, by RTHK 4. I'm still doing that with MD deck for live Chinesemusic.
My HiFi hobby started 15 years ago with
Philips CD304, Onkyo SS integrated amp, B&W DM17.
My friends MC240 + LS3/5a, Bruce Moore Mono block + SL700, shown the light of my journey of tube sound.
My longest lasting system : Dual CS505 TT + Counterpoint SA7 + custom made
active cross over + HBP50 + Adcom 555 + Magneplanar 1B.

The last three years were most dramatic for my HiFi hobby.
- Addicted to 300B.
- Experience the vintage tube.
- Integrate home theater to my HiFi system.
- Return of the turntable.
- Recollection of LPs. CD restricted to Chinese music only.
- Looking for my ultimate TT.
